During the holiday season, the pressure’s on us to be happy. But, for some of us, the season brings trepidation, anxiety, even fear. We may dread visiting relatives or returning to places we associate with traumatic experiences. Or perhaps we have one to see, nowhere to go. In this article, we present a way to mitigate the stresses of the season and find ways to begin transforming traumatic memories and reduce feelings of loneliness.
