Our highly experienced Practitioners at the Anat Baniel Method® (ABM) Center in San Rafael, California, offer consults and private sessions for adults and children.
When you come to our Center, we will propose a program for you, or for your child, that is based on our more than 30 years of experience with many breakthrough outcomes.
We also collaborate closely with certified Practitioners in your area. When people come to us from out of town, we will look to create a program for you or your child that combines work with your local practitioner. When needed, we may recommend continued periodic visits to the ABM Center, which will take advantage of the unique experience and expertise of Anat and her Team.

Anat Baniel is the founder of Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®, a powerful practice that takes advantage of the brain’s remarkable ability to change itself for the better to heal body and mind. Anat Baniel is the founder of Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®, a powerful practice that takes advantage of the brain’s remarkable ability to change itself for the better to heal body and mind.
Anat studied clinical psychology and statistics, was trained as a dancer, and was a close professional associate of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais.
From 30 years of remarkable outcomes with thousands of children with special needs and adults with injuries, chronic pain, and other conditions, Anat developed her work which is at the forefront of the emerging brain plasticity field.
She has helped both adults and children, from five days old to 90 years old, transform their lives physically, emotionally, and cognitively. Her work has helped children with special needs with a wide variety of conditions and high-performance athletes, musicians, business people, and other adults move beyond their present limitations to achieve greater energy, strength, health, and success.
Anat is the author of the bestselling book Move Into Life and the acclaimed Kids Beyond Limits. She teaches seminars and training programs worldwide. Her teaching is easy to follow, inspiring, and life changing. She and her team work out of the Anat Baniel Method® Center located in San Rafael, California. Together they continue to educate parents, professionals, and other adults and train hundreds of certified practitioners, bringing the work to the world over.

Marcy Lindheimer specializes in working with children using the Anat Baniel Method for Children. Marcy Lindheimer specializes in working with children using the Anat Baniel Method for Children. She is a Senior Trainer in Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®, and formerly, a voice teacher on the faculty of several colleges and music conservatories.
Marcy’s practice is devoted to children who have cerebral palsy (brain injured, including stroke), brachial plexus injury (including torticollis and other birth injuries), scoliosis, genetic disorders such as fragile X, spinal muscular dystrophy, cerebellar hypoplasia, Angelman’s Syndrome, Down Syndrome, and various other neurological difficulties.
Marcy is based in New York and travels to the ABM Center in San Rafael, California, several times a year to give lessons to children.
Carole Keefe

Carole received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. In seeking new ways to improve her practice and support her patients, Carole began studying with Anat Baniel in 2007 and transitioned to a full time Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® Practitioner in 2009.

Carole received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. In seeking new ways to improve her practice and support her patients, Carole began studying with Anat Baniel in 2007 and transitioned to a full-time Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® Practitioner in 2009.
With a commitment to continuing education, Carole takes part in the ABMI NeuroMovement® Practitioner Training programs as an Assistant Trainer.
Carole is based in Austin, Texas, and travels to Istanbul, Australia, and the ABM Center in California several times a year to provide lessons to children.

Katie joined the ABM NeuroMovement® Practitioner Training Program in February 2009 and received her certificate to be an ABM NeuroMovement® Practitioner in 2011.
Katie furthered her studies and in 2013, completed the Children’s Mastery and Vitality & Anti-Aging training programs.
Inspired by the changes she felt in her clients and in herself, she joined the ABM Training Support Staff in 2011 to continue learning. Since then, Katie has participated in two complete ABM NeuroMovement® Practitioner Trainings.
In 2012, Katie began working with children. She has traveled to Hawaii to lead intensives with children.

Naomi Swanson has a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance and Movement Education from Sonoma State University and holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from San Jose State University.
Naomi worked as a Clinical Social Worker with diverse families and children in a number of therapeutic and educational settings in both California and Washington for over six years.
Naomi’s love of movement and working with people led her to first begin studying with Anat Baniel in 1994. She graduated from Anat’s Professional Feldenkrais™ Training Program in 1997. Since then Naomi has continued studying with Anat and completed Mastery level certifications in the Anat Baniel Method® Neuromovement® for Children, for Anti-Aging and Vitality, and for High Performers. Naomi has been on the teaching staff in the ABMI Neuromovement® Practitioner Training Programs since 2011 and currently is one of the Assistant Trainers.
Naomi has had a full time practice working with babies and children with special needs throughout the Pacific Northwest and in Denmark since 2010. She currently maintains an office in Bellevue, Washington and recently moved back to the Bay Area where she works in Santa Rosa, CA, and is thrilled to be working at the ABM Center in San Rafael.

Michelle graduated from Anat’s Feldenkrais® Training in 2000. She completed the Children’s Mastery in 2006, followed by the Vitality and Anti-Aging and High Performers Programs in 2008. Michelle completed her ABM Basic Professional Training in 2011 and became an Assistant Trainer in 2012. She’s taught community movement lessons since 1998 and led workshops for parents, teachers, health professionals, patient support groups, horseriding clubs, folk music festivals, and herbal conferences. Michelle’s private practice is based in Green Bay, WI.

Chris Krzyzkowski
ABM NeuroMovement Traveling Practitioner
In 1998, Chris Krzyzkowski graduated from Ithaca College with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and started his career at the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, NY, as a member of the stroke team focusing on neurologic recovery. In 2002, Chris relocated to California to study at the internationally known Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo. This center is home to the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) Post-Graduate Training Program where he became a staff member and later, an international instructor in PNF.
Always looking to discover new ways to provide better outcomes for his patients, Chris discovered the Anat Baniel Method (ABM) in 2008. He was inspired by the combination of the transformative practical application of neuroplasticity, the amazing results with a wide variety of people, and Anat’s engaging teaching style. One weekend seminar on Healthy Backs was all it took for Chris to decide to learn this Method.
Chris has been studying with Anat Baniel and her team ever since, having completed the ABM Professional Training in 2011 and Children’s Mastery Training in 2012. He is now a traveling ABM Center Practitioner, focusing on children with special needs. He maintains a passion for and also continues to work with adult stroke survivors. Chris joined the team at the ABM Center in May 2012.
