Below are two videos of the presentation that Dan Ouellette made at Royal University Hospital.
Anat Baniel Method®: NeuroMovement® for Transforming Clinical Outcomes in Neurological Rehabilitation (Part 1 of 2)
In part 1 of the presentation, Dan introduces Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®. He discusses how this approach helped his daughter almost immediately, after she was diagnosed with right-sided hemiplegia. He was so inspired by the work and the outcomes that he saw with his daughter that he decided to study and become an ABM NeuroMovement® Practitioner. Dan shows video clips of several other clients who also made significant progress using this approach. He explains how information is processed and change happens in the brain. He shows the power of differentiation, learning how to perceive differences, as the key to making change. Dan also gives a quick NeuroMovement® lesson so that audience members can experience firsthand the power of their brain changing.
Anat Baniel Method®: NeuroMovement® for Transforming Clinical Outcomes in Neurological Rehabilitation (Part 2 of 2)
In part 2 of the presentation, Dan explains the 9 Essentials of Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® and how they can be used to wake up the brain. The 9 Essentials are validated by modern science’s latest discoveries in the area of brain plasticity—the brain’s ability to change and grow new neurological pathways and connections throughout life. Dan gives practical examples so that therapists and doctors understand how the 9 Essentials can be used to help their clients’ rehabilitation and recovery. Tessa David, a stroke survivor, shares her process of recovery using NeuroMovement®. In conclusion, Tessa and Dan answer questions from the audience.
Dan, thank you so much for making this presentation available via video. This is an important accomplishment for you and for our work! Tessa, I appreciate your courage in sharing your story and trust that you will have more amazing transformations in your journey to recovery!
I am honored to work with both of you.
