Revealing the Latest Science About Autism Spectrum Disorders, including ADHD
Did you know that autism spectrum disorders are the fastest growing developmental disorder in the world today? In the United States, a child is diagnosed every 11 minutes. For the past three decades, the rates have increased at an accelerating rate and are currently 1 in 68 children; 1 in 48 boys and 1 in 189 girls are affected.
The Autism Intensive features In-Person Interviews with over 35 Functional Medicine Visionaries.
Some of the speakers include Dr. Martha Herbert, Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Norm Schwartz, and many others. Hear about the cutting-edge science around food and diet, the immune system, brain plasticity, and specifically how children on the autism spectrum are affected.

Unlocking Brain Plasticity through Movement
“Most people make the mistake that they think they’re teaching something. Teaching and learning are two independent processes. Often times they don’t intersect. That’s the job of the brain—to make sense out of the nonsense and put order in the disorder. Children on the autism spectrum have a tremendously difficult time doing that. When we look at the child, and we give the diagnosis, it could close our mind to the genius of that system, and how to access the genius of that system, even when it shows symptoms of severe dysfunction. The way to help them is to help that brain get better at perceiving differences. Once you do that in ways that don’t trigger their limitations and their challenges, then very often we get very remarkable outcomes.” —Anat Baniel
