The workshops
Most workshops are two day weekend workshops. Anat also teaches one day, three day and occasionally 5 day workshops. She also offers 2 hour short introductory workshops. She is assisted by certified Anat Baniel Method practitioners who make sure the participants are supported and their needs are met.
The workshop subjects are:

- Children With Special Needs: A Workshop for Parents and Professionals. Learn cutting edge techniques and theory to help transform your child’s life beyond the expected

What to expect in the ABM workshops
- Transformational Movement Lessons:
Each day you will participate in two to three movement lessons. The lessons are gentle, safe and easy to follow, yet the outcomes are dramatic. Each movement lesson is different from all others and centers around a specific function or movement skill – like twisting, bending, balancing, rolling, etc. The lessons build on one another to bring about profound improvements not just in the body, but also in the mind and emotion. The exercises are structured and taught in such a way that everyone can begin at their level and progress from there. Try our demo video and you will realize that the ABM exercises are different from the usual back exercises, neck exercises or stretching exercises.
- Lecture:
Lectures and theoretical explanations will be provided throughout the workshop. The participants learn about the 9 essentials that the brain needs in order to form new connections and possibilities and transform pain and limitation into comfort, strength and freedom. The participants get to understand the “miracles” that they are experiencing during the workshop. They are able to bring and utilize these 9 essentials in their everyday life and thus continue to experience remarkable improvements beyond the ordinary.
- Demonstrations:
Ms Baniel will be doing many short, hands on demonstrations on participants during the workshop to help facilitate the process for individuals who need it. These demonstrations help all participants discover wonderful new possibilities for themselves.
- Discussion:
There will be time for questions and discussion of the ideas and techniques that are being taught and any questions the participants might have regarding their experience.
- Materials:
Participants will be given copies of articles relevant to the course material.
- At home program:
The participants will be guided as to ways to continue at home the process begun in the workshop. They will also have the option to purchase DVD and CD movement programs to enhance and continue the process begun in the workshop.

Over 80% of Americans suffer from back pain at some point in their lives. Back pain is often slow to diminish and can return with the smallest of exertions. In addition, most people have great limitations in the way they move and use their back, even when free of pain.
Many people are told to start stretching exercises or other back exercises, which may not always help and could even lead to more problems if done improperly. In this workshop Anat Baniel, founder of the Anat Baniel Methodsm, based on the work of Dr. Feldenkrais, will lead participants to discover new, easy, safe and powerful ways to move their backs. Those participants suffering from back pain will discover the path to overcoming their pain and limitations. and see how this program is a key part of a lifetime fitness routine.

ABM for Healthy Necks: Overcome neck and shoulder pain, stiffness and limitation and gain flexibility and strength of body and mind.
Neck and shoulder pain, strain and limitation are the most common disorders after back pain. Repetitive motion injury is common among computer users, musicians, athletes and others. Almost all adults experience stiffness and limitation in the movement of their neck and shoulder, which in turn limits their performance, be it athletics, exercise, fitness programs, driving, dancing and much more. Neck pain can easily become chronic, is often slow to diminish, can return with the smallest of exertions, and is almost always due to poor movement organization . Traditional stretching exercises can actually be counterproductive to resolving these issues.
In this workshop Anat Baniel, founder of the Anat Baniel Methodsm, based on the work of Dr. Feldenkrais will lead participants to discover new, easy, and safe ways to move their neck and shoulder. Those participants suffering from neck pain will discover the path to overcoming their pain and limitations.

ABM for Healthy Joints: Overcome Joint pain, stiffness and limitation and gain flexibility and strength of body and mind.
Joint pain is experienced by people of all ages. Both with younger and with older people, it is often associated with misuse of the body. Poorly organized movement is at the heart of repetitive movement injury experienced by athletes, musicians, computer users, yoga students and others. It is also at the heart of limitations in performance, like in golfing, running, walking, weight lifting and more. Joint pain is most commonly felt in the hip joints, knees, shoulders, and wrists. In this workshop Anat Baniel, founder of the Anat Baniel MethodSM, based on the work of Dr. Feldenkrais, will lead participants to discover how to move so that the joints move easily and fully; so movement becomes easy and pleasurable to do. Unlike traditional stretching exercises, you are never told "no pain – no gain". Everyone can safely and gently use this unique method.

ABM for Vitality and Anti-Aging:
As we age, the wear and tear of life manifests itself both positively, through increased capabilities, and negatively through a variety of aches, pains, stiffness, loss of strength, compromised mobility and dimming of vitality. Anat Baniel Method for Breathing and Voice
Limitation and difficulty in breathing can be the result of illness, or of poor posture and movement habits acquired over time. In this workshop Anat Baniel, founder of the Anat Baniel Methodsm, based on the work of Dr. Feldenkrais, will lead participants to discover easy, full, free breathing through improved movement and posture.

ABM for High Performers: Athletes, Musicians, CEO’s, Dancers, Writers, Actors
High level activities demand greater awareness, concentration, and agility. Yet high performers under pressure must also cope with a high degree of physical, emotional, and mental stress.
In this workshop Anat Baniel, founder of the Anat Baniel Methodsm, based on the work of Dr. Feldenkrais, will lead participants to learn how to improve organization of high performance and high pressure activities where moving optimally is crucial. As a result, they will experience improvement in their performance level and reduced injury.

Anat Baniel Method for Parents of Children With Special Needs
Anat Baniel is a leading expert in improving the function of children with special needs. She has also developed a program to help parents learn additional ways to provide for their child's physical, emotional, and mental needs.
In this workshop Anat Baniel, founder of the Anat Baniel Methodsm, based on the work of Dr. Feldenkrais, will help parents and care takers better understand their child's perspective and be better equipped to help answer to their needs. The workshop is both experiential and theoretical.
