Anat Baniel Works with Roman and his Mom Lydia
The Anat Baniel Method (ABM) is a science-based, revolutionary approach for waking up your child’s brain, providing it with the information and conditions to thrive and to powerfully transform limitations into often surprising new possibilities. The method’s gentle movements and ABM’s Nine Essentials are powerful tools that provide transformational help for children with special needs to overcome their limitations.
Roman and Sylvia Shoredike, ABM Practitioner
With this approach, we do not focus on the child’s limitations. We do not try to force children into developmental milestones they are not ready to do successfully, which can groove in their limitations even deeper. Instead, we always work with the child where he or she is at the present time. The work is very gentle, helping the child’s brain self-organize and spontaneously develop what it needs to move to his or her next level of performance. The movements and techniques help your child’s brain wake up and organize his or her own intentionality and awareness of themselves and the world around them.
A Sweet Exchange Between Roman and ABM Practitioner Neil Sharp
Our ABM Practitioners use gentle, innovative movements and techniques to help the brain of the special needs child, as well as the typically developing child, form new neural connections and patterns that take them beyond their current limitations. While it is an ongoing process, you can expect to see some changes within the first few lessons. Changes can be very subtle, and at times, quite dramatic.
