Dolores’s story :
When Dolores, a professional woman in her early fifties, came to Anat Baniel she was suffering from severe pain in her back and feet. She had gone through surgery to her neck, foot and leg in the previous decade. Now she could barely walk, and was afraid to bend down. She was always tired and unable to participate in activities with her family.
Ms. Baniel introduced to Dolores the essentials for vitality and anti-aging solutions based on her Method. Dolores began to understand that part of the pain she was experiencing came from her increasing fear of her own body, which was becoming rigid. This rigidity had also entered her thinking, her emotions, and even her entire way of being.
As Ms. Baniel began to help Dolores explore new ways of moving, especially bringing into motion the parts of her body that she either neglected her whole life or she was holding in tension and fear, she immediately began feeling better. Within three months she was able to travel with her family to Europe and was able to explore new cities on foot. Today Dolores walks two hours a day, is back to hiking with her husband up to six hours on the weekends, and has started swimming. She has let go of many of her habitual limiting emotional reactions, and thought patterns. Dolores is learning the essentials of vitality and lifetime fitness and has a renewed sense of the potential for joy in life.

The anti-aging solutions and lifetime fitness offered through the
Transformational Movement Lessons and the 9 Essentials for
Vitality™ are
very different from stretching exercises and other kinds of exercise
and fitness programs - physical and mental. (Learn more with our article: Exercise

Rather than engaging in repetitive movements that are often
done forcefully and even mindlessly, with the Transformational
Movement Lessons you will be asked to move gently and slowly
and pay attention to what you feel. Visit our Free Video Library to try a free sample lesson

You will be paying attention to your whole body, not just the painful
areas. (You may also try the free lesson “Twisting
in a Chair”) .
You will quickly become aware of what you are doing and will discover
ways to move that are easier and give you relief from limitation
and pain in different parts of your body. You will be amazed at
how much better you will feel - fast. You will gain a new understanding
of how your body and mind work that will give you access to new

In each movement lesson you will be guided by Anat through a sequence
of movements. You will be encouraged to move slowly and gently. In
